Jail: 3 days – 6 months; mandatory min 3 days — satisfiable by the 3-day Driver Intervention Program (6 days if high test)
Fine: $375–$1,075 (plus reinstatement fee (~$475) and costs)
License suspension: 1 year – 3 years; hardship: limited privileges after 15-day hard suspension; unlimited privileges available with ignition interlock (Annie's Law), which can halve the suspension
Ignition interlock: Not required at this level — Optional-but-incentivized on a first offense (Annie's Law, 2017); restricted plates possible, mandatory with high test privileges.
Alternative disposition: 3-day Driver Intervention Program in lieu of jail is the standard first-offense outcome.
Lookback period: 10 years. 10-year lookback for repeat-offense enhancement; 20-year window for the refusal-with-prior enhanced charge; felony at 4th in 10 years or 6th in 20.
